Eric graduated with a BS in Music from MIT in 1999. He never really understood why a music degree would be considered scientific, but was happy to get recognition for his years of study. On the day he was awarded his music degree, MIT also awarded Eric a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Since then, he has worked for Gordian, Bioscrypt and Harman, programming at all levels from machine code to drivers to web applications. Along the way, he’s dabbled in hardware when needed, taking pride in his ability to solder TQFP chips by hand. He has also learned quite a bit about biometrics and audio. Eric is an avid environmentalist. In addition to owning two biodiesel vehicles, he keeps a vegan diet, can often be found at thrift stores and junkyards and composts food scraps for his garden. He also enjoys playing with his three dogs, two turntables and a microphone.
