I strongly encourage everyone to check out the list of folks and presentations showing up at this weekend’s BarCamp.  This is a fantastic forum and I believe a key component in enriching the tech and startup community in LA.  Even if you feel that you cannot contribute, please check it out to simply witness what BarCamps are all about.  It is an “unconference” — unstructured  and yet self organizing.  More importantly, it is a place where you can find your own voice and connect that with others.
